Meet Cameron & Jenny
We are Cameron and Jenny Mendes, the writers of Chamatkar Every Day for India. You might know us from Yeshua Ministries, that was founded by Cameron in 2002, and from some of the well-known Hindi worship hits written by him like "Yeshu Tera Naam Sabse Uncha Hai", "Hum Gaye Hosanna", "Gao Hallelujah", "Le Chal Mujhe" and "Tumsa".
Cameron has been a worship leader and songwriter for over 20 years, and Jenny, formerly a lawyer and still a preacher, joined Yeshua Ministries after we got married. Together with our team, we've traveled the world, sharing the gospel through music. We used to live in India until we moved to the USA where Cameron worked as a worship pastor but we now reside in the Netherlands—Jenny's homeland. Despite our international base, our hearts are still desi and passionate for India.
In 2020, we faced the greatest trial of our lives when our 10-month-old son, Zac, fell critically ill with a brain infection. To this day, He remains severely disabled, and we continue to pray for a miracle of complete healing. Through this painful journey, we have learned to praise Jesus Christ in every circumstance—whether traveling the world with the gospel or weeping by our son’s hospital bed, whether singing on stage or enduring sleepless nights.
We've discovered that life finds its true meaning only with God, who draws near to us in both our joys and our sorrows. We could not have walked this road without the support of others, and now, we want to come alongside your faith-journey and help you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, by sending you daily encouragement!
Growing up as a pastor's kid in India, Cameron witnessed his parents' unwavering dedication to God, despite enduring severe physical and emotional persecution. His vision was to create a ministry that would bring the gospel to the world and could not be silenced by persecution—and that is exactly what happened! Yeshua Ministries songs have reached millions through social media and online streaming. This aligns perfectly with the mission of Jesus.net, which is to spread the gospel through online evangelism. We are thrilled to partner together and bring Chamatkar Every Day to India!
