It’s easy to think, “I don’t want to bother anyone with my problems”, but that is a lie the devil uses to isolate us because he knows the power of united prayers. The Bible says, “if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” – Matthew 18:19
The Bible is filled with people praying for others: Timothy urges his followers that “petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people” – 1 Timothy 2:1 and Paul writes how he does not stop praying for his friends in Colossae and continually asks God to fill them with the knowledge and wisdom of the Holy Spirit (Colossians 1:9).
We have personally experienced the blessing of having a network of people pray for us, especially when our son, Zac, was in the hospital. We felt carried by the prayers of many believers around the world, interceding for the life of our boy.
