God sees… your good deeds
Do you ever feel like all your efforts go by unnoticed? Or that you do good things for others but aren’t appreciated?
I have great news for you: God sees it! You may feel overlooked, but heaven isn’t missing a thing.
God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. – Hebrews 6:10 NIV
It can be frustrating when we feel unseen or underappreciated, but when it comes to doing good things for others, that’s actually the way it is supposed to be.🤔
Jesus teaches us:
“Be careful not to practise your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” – Matthew 6:1,3-4
We cannot be saved by our good deeds (Ephesians 2:8-9), but God does reward them!
It can be as simple as leaving an encouraging note for someone, giving a homeless person some money, or anonymously ordering a meal to be delivered to a friend’s house.
