Do you need a “love break”? 🫶🏽
Do you take regular breaks throughout your day? A coffee break, a lunch break, a bathroom break, etc. These breaks are necessary to help you relax, recharge or simply off-load 🤭
However, there’s another type of break that’s a must, one we often neglect or completely forget: the “love break.” I’m sure you’re wondering what a “love break” is...Like your body, your soul must relax, recharge and know you are loved.
A “love break” allows you to savour Jesus’s love for you.
At any time of your day, wherever you are, friend, take a moment to:
- Sit at His feet (Luke 10:39-42)
- Rejoice in His presence (Psalms 32:11)
- Meditate on His word (Joshua 1:8)
Listen to His loving voice telling you, “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love, friend.” (John 15:9)
So, when your day is just one thing after the next, remember to stop for a few seconds. Imagine laying your head on His shoulder and absorbing Jesus’ love for you! Relax and smile—God loves you.
Would you like to pray with me?...“Heavenly Father, teach me to take time to enjoy Your presence. Help me to feel Your love all day long! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
