Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge
One of the most vital aspects of our faith journey is our personal, spiritual transformation, which involves leaving behind our old ways to become more like Jesus.
God brings about spiritual transformation in various ways, including conviction of sins, revelations of His Word, and seasons of trial.
Sometimes, He also uses the people in our lives to point us in the right direction through instruction, correction and discipline; yikes 😬, not our favourite words, right?
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17
Today’s resolution is to be open to instruction, correction, and discipline because that is how others sharpen you.

God often uses people close to us to discipline us: our parents, teachers, pastors and friends. While they may not always be right, it is wise to consider their corrections, for all you know, the Holy Spirit is working through them to teach you something valuable.
