Have you ever asked this question? Maybe you’re asking it right now.
There are days when, though the sky is blue and the weather pleasant, it feels like dark clouds are hanging over our heads. The Christian life isn’t just a succession of joys and victories. You can’t have victories without first facing battles!
In such times, we tend to lose sight of the Lord. It becomes harder to see His moving hand and hear His reassuring voice. God wants you to know that He is always with you!
Perhaps that’s why He gave His son the name Immanuel, which means God is with us (Matthew 1:23).
You are never alone on this earth. Jesus is always present, never far away. He is the One who understands you. In the difficult times, Jesus shows Himself to be a true friend:

He doesn’t leave the boat when the storm rages because He is faithful (2 Thessalonians 3:3),
-
He doesn’t condemn you (Romans 8:1),
-
He stands by your side and supports you (see Psalm 54:4)
Jesus is faithful, patient, and loving. In everything you’re going through, He stands with you.
You are not alone. Immanuel is with you!
Let’s pray together.
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your faithfulness, Your friendship, Your presence. You are Immanuel, God with me. I am absolutely assured that You won’t abandon me, my faithful, true friend. I’m not alone in the situation I’m going through because You are with me. Thank You, Jesus. In Your name, amen.
