He persevered because he saw Him who is invisible.

Have you ever seen the classic Hindi film Mr. India? In it, the hero wears a special watch that makes him invisible to the human eye. Though no one can see him, he’s very much present, fighting injustice and protecting the innocent from the shadows.

In many ways, that’s how our journey with God can feel. We may not always see Him with our physical eyes, but that doesn’t mean He’s absent. Unlike the gadgets in the movie, God doesn’t need any device to work behind the scenes. His power, presence, and purpose are always at play—quietly, faithfully, and perfectly and Moses knew of this.

“By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger;  He persevered because he saw Him who is invisible.”Hebrews 11:27

Moses had every reason to be terrified. He was defying Pharaoh, the most powerful ruler of his time. He was walking away from the only home he had known for decades and stepping into the unknown with a group of people who would constantly doubt, question, and rebel against him.

And yet, the writer of Hebrews tells us that Moses did not fear the king’s wrath. Why? Because “he saw Him (God) who is invisible.”Faith teaches us that the invisible is often more powerful than the visible. Moses didn’t persevere by sight; he persevered by vision. God given vision.

His eyes were fixed on someone greater than Pharaoh, greater than Egypt, greater than his fear.God is our ever-present help in trouble, the silent strength in our weakness, and the unseen hand turning every detail of our lives for our good (Psalms 46:1).

Will you choose to see the Invisible? Will you lift your eyes above the chaos and fix them on Jesus, who is the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2)?

Hey! You are a Chamatkar.
