God is desperate to interact with you, yearning to transform you and zealous for your attention.

Good morning! Have you noticed there’s a self-help trend encouraging people to start the day strong? For example, by waking up early, drinking water, exercising, eating a specific breakfast, meditating, or even brushing their teeth a certain way 🪥.

The importance of a good start to your day is not a new concept; in fact, it’s an ancient, Biblical practice. The Bible encourages us to begin every day by spending time with God:

  • “In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”Psalms 5:3

  • “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where He prayed.” – Mark 1:35

That’s why we send you your Chamatkar every morning – to help you begin your day strong: with God. Each Chamatkar ends with an action, whether a song, prayer or reflection, designed to engage your heart, turn words into action and make room for God to work in you. God is desperate to interact with you, yearning to transform you and zealous for your attention.

Consistently starting your day with God will really make a difference. Moses prays, “Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.” – Psalms 90:14

friend, a great way to start the day, apart from reading your Chamatkar of course 😉, is to spend some time in silence and solitude with God. Aim for 10-15 minutes of complete silence. Find a quiet corner and switch off your phone. Say a simple one-line prayer, for example, “Lord, here I am”. When your mind wanders (which is totally normal!), gently refocus by repeating this simple line. End your time with the Lord’s Prayer

Hey! You are a Chamatkar.
