You have searched me, Lord, and You know me
No matter how much you love someone- for example, your parents, spouse, siblings, kids or friends –they can get on your nerves, right? On the one hand, you would take a bullet for them, and at the same time, they can drive you crazy. 🤪 Getting annoyed with a loved one is totally normal; we’re all human.
Thankfully, God is not human; He’s God! 😉 It is amazing that He never, ever gets tired of us, no matter how much we talk to, share with, or ask of Him. It doesn’t bother Him when we bother Him! In fact, He loves it!
“You have searched me, Lord,and you know me.You know when I sit and when I rise;you perceive my thoughts from afar.You discern my going out and my lying down;you are familiar with all my ways.Before a word is on my tongueYou, Lord, know it completely.You hem me in behind and before,and you lay your hand upon me.Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,too lofty for me to attain.” – Psalm 139:1-6
friend, picture God sitting at the edge of His seat, looking at you with love-filled eyes, excited to see your every move, waiting to hear your voice when you pray to Him.
God never gets tired of you, and He never has enough of you. He wants to shower you with His perfect, patient, all-encompassing, endless, and abundant love.
friend, let’s ask God together for a new revelation of His love today: “Heavenly Father, thank You for your incredible, perfect love for me. Would You fill me again with Your love through Your Holy Spirit? Amen.”
