God is still good, still sovereign, still faithful.

When Zac fell ill in 2020, prayers rose from every corner. People stood with us in faith, and we received many heartfelt prophecies — words filled with hope, declaring his complete healing. Jenny and I clung to every one of them. We chose to believe that God would heal Zac here on this earth, that this suffering was only for a season.
We trusted His Word even when the journey grew harder. But after years of pain, relentless challenges, and countless sleepless nights, Zac went home to be with Jesus in March 2025.
When he took his final breath, it felt like the air left our lungs, too. Our hearts broke into pieces. The miracle we prayed for — it didn’t come the way we expected. The words spoken over his healing? We didn’t see them fulfilled.
And yet… somehow, in the middle of the sorrow and grief, our hearts were still beating with faith.
Not because we understand. Not because it all makes sense. But because we know—God is still good. He is still sovereign. He is still faithful.
Zac is now whole and full of joy, wrapped in the very arms of the God we trusted all along. His suffering is over. His healing is real, just not in the form we imagined.
Faith, we’ve learned, is not always about seeing promises unfold the way we want. It’s about trusting God when everything around us feels broken. It’s believing He is near when the miracle doesn’t arrive, and choosing to praise Him when the answers don't come.
And that, too, is a miracle.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. – Hebrews 11:1
I’d like to pray for you today.
Heavenly Father, would You fill the recipient with the confidence to rest in who You are. To trust not in what is seen but to stand firm and let their unseen faith speak louder than their circumstances.
