For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

A while ago, Cameron and I received a very sweet handwritten card from a girl we had only met once, telling us how much our story had been an inspiration to her and made a difference in her life. It melted our hearts, and I hung it above my desk as a reminder that how we live our lives truly makes a difference.

In a world filled with noise, influence, and visibility, it’s easy to feel like a small voice in a crowded room. But God’s Word reminds us that our lives carry purpose, not because of any platform, but because of His design.

Purpose is not determined by how many people know our name. It’s determined by the One who created us.

God has already assigned value to our lives through His calling. Paul reminds us:

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. – Ephesians 2:10 NIV

This verse reminds me that I am not accidental. And, neither are you! We are crafted with intention. The good works we are called to walk in were prepared before we even stepped into them.

That means our daily life—our conversations, our service, our encouragement to others—matters more than we often realise. Purpose is lived out in ordinary moments that are surrendered to God, and every moment matters.

Let’s choose to embrace the assignments in front of us, trusting that God is working through even the smallest acts of obedience. Together, we can change the world!

Let’s pray:

Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me with purpose. Help me recognise the significance of my daily life and the opportunities You place before me. Give me eyes to see the good works You have prepared for me, and the courage to walk in them faithfully. Let my life reflect Your intentional design. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Hey! You are a Chamatkar.
