“What wings are to a bird, and sails to a ship, so is prayer to the soul.” ― Corrie Ten Boom

Has this ever happened to you—you’re walking or driving, and something unusual catches your eye on the side of the road? Before you know it, you’re swerving in the direction you were looking.

That’s why it is so important always to keep your eyes on the road!

The same is true for our minds. The things we allow our thoughts to focus on will determine the direction we’re heading. So how do we steer our minds? Through prayer!

Prayer shifts your focus away from your worries and onto God.

“What wings are to a bird, and sails to a ship, so is prayer to the soul.” ― Corrie Ten Boom

I’ve noticed that when I get caught up in my thoughts, my problems start to feel huge—like there’s this towering mountain in front of me with no way around it.

But when I take that same problem to God in prayer, something changes. The problem doesn’t always shrink in size—but my focus shifts. I start seeing less of the problem and more of my almighty, powerful God.

It’s all about perspective. When you focus on the greatness of God, everything else becomes small in comparison—even the biggest challenges.

The Bible tells us:

Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. – Hebrews 12:1-2

And:

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.Colossians 3:2

Bring all your worries to God in prayer today. Allow your mind to shift from dwelling on your problems to seeing the Problem Solver.

Hey! You are a Chamatkar.
