I, am He who blots out your transgressions.

Publication date Feb 3, 2026

Do you have any past mistakes that haunt you? Something that makes you cringe when you think about it. We probably all do.

We are much more likely to remember our mistakes than our victories. We tend to keep replaying them in our heads, wishing we had done things differently. It is so easy to get completely caught up with something we’ve done wrong, as if worrying about it will somehow change the outcome or erase the event. Sound familiar?

The good news is that God doesn’t remember our past mistakes —not because He can’t, but because He chooses not to.

“I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”Isaiah 43:25 NIV

If God doesn’t want to remember our transgressions, then why should we?

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:12 NIV

God doesn’t just forget our transgressions; He removes them from us. So why would we allow their memory to haunt us over and over again? We shouldn’t!

It’s time to let go, of our past mistakes and to let God erase them forever. How? By confessing them and letting God do the rest:

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:9 NIV

Let’s pray together.

Heavenly Father, I have made this mistake _________, and it has been stuck in my head. Today I choose to confess it, let it go and ask You to erase it forever. Would You forgive my sins and purify me from all unrighteousness? Thank You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Hey! You are a Chamatkar.
