You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
When I first met Cameron, I had no idea he was a famous worship leader. I knew he led worship in his dad’s church, and I could tell he was talented. But since I didn’t listen to Hindi worship, I had never heard of his music.
Then, after I had already known Cameron for two years, I attended a Yeshua Ministries concert in the North East of India. Thousands of people were gathered, and everyone clapped and cheered when Cameron came on.
Afterwards, he was surrounded by crowds of people who wanted pictures and signatures. I found myself asking, “Who is this guy??” I had just witnessed a totally different side of him. 🥰
The disciples spent approximately three years in total with Jesus, from the time He called them until His death and resurrection. They witnessed all that Jesus did and heard all His teachings.
Towards the end of that period, He asks them an important question:
“‘Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?’ So they said, ‘Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.’ He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’” – Matthew 16:13-15 NKJV
Jesus is asking you the same question.
Nowadays, some people say He is a guru, others that He was just a prophet or simply a historical figure. But what do you believe?
Try to answer this question for yourself before you look up the answer that Jesus considered blessed in Matthew 16:16-17.
Was your answer totally different? Don’t worry, ask your Heavenly Father to reveal Jesus to you as the Son of God through prayer, the Bible and the Holy Spirit.
As you continue to walk with Jesus, like the disciples, you will grow to know Him better.
